This warm Tuscan finish was created using several layers of weathered (textured) plaster in addition to several layers of warm caramel glazes to create highlights and shadows on the walls. The combination took this beautiful, but newly renovated kitchen from stark (see "before" photo, below left) to cozy (below right), while complementing the dark woodwork and mosaic tile backsplash.
