Weathered "Leather"
A weathered "leather" effect is created using several layers of saddle brown plaster; details are accented using a deep tobacco colored medium. This finish was used in the library/living room of a beautiful old Victorian home in Newton, MA, which also featured dark mahogany woodwork. Massive floor to ceiling windows bring in loads of sunlight ensuring the room is warm but not excessively dark.
