Several shades of blue and periwinkle glaze are blended to create a soft, muted colorwash. Deeper blue and white "veining" is painted in by hand to create additional interest and dimension.

The colorwash is a beautiful finish on its own, or can be used as a base for additional details, stencilling, and handpainted effects.
