An outdated wall finish in a dark boy's bedroom was transformed to greet the incoming teenage girl whose brother had relocated to a college dorm room. We used a soft aqua glaze to lighten up the walls, while an ocean inspired border gave the room a whimsical touch. We added a decorative element on the ceiling to give her something fun to look at as she lounged on the floor and dreamed of faraway places! We even painted over the wall sconces as the finishing touch.
